  • Last date for submission of abstract is January 31, 2019. ( Extended Date )
  • Invited speakers and those who would like to present a poster / oral presentation must submit an abstract. A sample abstract page is appended with this file. Your abstract should follow the same format. You can either submit your abstract with your Registration Form or submit it later (not later than January 31, 2019).
  • Instructions are available on Sample page. And view the list of Abstracts at
  • Abstract book will be available in print format with registration kit and can be downloaded from our website at the end of symposium.
  • A limited number of participants may be invited to give short oral presentations based on the abstracts submitted. if you want to be considered for oral presentations, please mention that clearly.
  • Save your abstract file as XXMMDD.doc where ‘XX’ is the first two letters of your last name, ‘DD’ is the your birth date and ‘MM’ is your birth month (for example Gautam Basu, born on 18th July 1961 will name his file BA1807.doc).
  • Send the Word document by Email to indianpeptidesociety@gmail.com (with a copy to 7th.indpepsymp@gmail.com).
  • Please use ‘7th IPS 2019-Abstract’ as the subject of your Email’.
  • Those who have submitted their abstract and participating in poster presentation should bring their posters at the site of the poster presentation at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad preferably on the evening of February 27, 2019.

 

  • Size of the panel to put the poster is 3ft.X4ft. (Width= 3ft. /36 in. and Height = 4ft. /48 in.)

 

  • Material to fix the poster will be provided at the site by organizers.

 

  • Poster presentation session will be mentioned in the program schedule.

Lifetime Achievement Award : Lifetime achievement award is prestigious award given by Indian Peptide Society to an eminent Scientist for his outstanding contribution in the area of peptide science in his / her life time.

 

Young Scientist Award :Commencing on the tenth anniversary of the Indian peptide Society, the Executive Committee has decided to institute one biennial Indian peptide Society Young Scientist (IPS YS) Award to recognize scientific excellence of young researchers with a proven record of independent works carried out in the country in the areas of peptides and peptidomimetics. The award constitutes a cash prize, citation and an award lecture to be delivered during the biennial Indian Peptide Symposium.

 

Best Oral Presentation Award. : Selection Committee awards a few student speakers for their best oral presentation.

 

Best Poster Presentation Award : Selection Committee awards a few scholars for their posters in poster presentation session.

  • Outstation Invited Speakers / Organizers / Session Chairs / Special Guests will be provided accommodation. If you are an Invited Speaker / Organizer / Session Chair and don’t need accommodation, please mention ‘NO’; otherwise mention ‘YES’ in Registration Form.

 

  • Student accommodation will be booked on Payment basis to students who participate in poster presentation at student guest hose at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad itself. Limited number of student participants will be provided accommodation on a first-come-first-serve basis. The cost of the accommodation may be waived depending on the final funding situation. .
